This 5-star hotel is located in the Zocalo, the main plaza at the city centre in Mexico City. We stayed 6 nights at Gran Hotel Ciudad de México with our daughter and absolutely loved everything. Our room overlooking the Zócalo was stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide and tasty selection. The hotel restaurant was also great, offering delicious food and a breathtaking view of the square. It’s also a lovely spot to enjoy a drink, especially at sunset. The staff was really great—friendly, helpful, and professional. The location felt very safe, with plenty of police presence around. Nothing negative to say—a perfect stay!

The bnb is beautiful and very thoughtfully set up. Breakfast was delicious, and it was wonderful to meet some of the other guests. The owner is charming, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the city and its history. His restaurant recommendations are spot-on, and his dogs are very cute. It's almost as much fun spending time at the hotel as it is going out in the city.
