Centrally located in Kota Kinabalu, Hyatt Regency Kinabalu offers spacious and elegant accommodation with free WiFi throughout. The property boasts an outdoor pool and 6 dining options. We were early and our room wasn’t ready yet so they my stored our luggage until check-in later. Rate this Hyatt a 10++! The hotel kindly provided balloons and a slice of tiramisu cake with a candle to surprise my daughter on her birthday. What a treat! Excellent AC and hat water. We had a huge room with slippers and a huge luxurious bathrobe to enjoy the celebration. We did not eat in the hotel since there were so many restaurants and the Central Market was within walking distance. Of course we took a selfie with the iconic “I ❤️KK” sign outside by the broad walk. Definitely had a feeling of being pampers in a spacious luxury hotel at a very reasonable rate of $75 per night for two in twin room. it was a pleasant 10-15 minute stroll to Jesselton Pier for our excursion.

We had an amazing view on the sunset from our room ! We came for our honeymoon and the staff prepared some details in our room~ The swimming pool was nice to relax after walking outside. Also the hotel is located just in front of the night market which is very convenient. The staff was adorable and comprehensive of our schedule. Lastly the breakfast was AMAZING one of the biggest choice I have seen.
