The elegant Hotel Continental is centrally located in Oslo, only 150 metres from Oslo’s main street, Karl Johan. It is the only 5-star hotel in Norway, and offers free in-room Internet access. We booked this expecting it to be a nice hotel, but only when we met up with a friend who's an Oslo local did we find out that it is considered the best hotel in the city. It's easy to understand why. Luxury without pretention, excellent service, the best beds we had on our entire trip through Norway. It was a hotel we actually looked forward to co9ming "home" to each day. The breakfast really was exceptional. It was simply on point and current in every single respect, which is not typical of "institution" type hotels that often rely on their reputation. To top it off, the location was perfect. Flawless.

Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Eight Roof Top Bar is open Wednesday - Saturday from 17:00 to 00:00. Beautiful property in a fantastic and perfect location, in comfortable walking distance to many places like the Opera House, Munch museum, Oslo train station, sightseeing cruises, main shopping street, etc. Courteous and helpful reception staff. Special mention to Concierge on duty Rubina who gave us good restaurant recommendations.

This elegant hotel is 850 metres from Oslo Central Station and 2 minutes’ walk from the main street Karl Johans gate. It offers free Wi-Fi, along with free gym and sauna access. Excellent breakfast, really friendly staff. Smooth check-in and check-out experience. All my additional requests regarding our room have been fulfilled. Room was nice, quiet and spacious. Location is grate. And in general the atmosphere in the hotel, the breakfast rooms and the general furnishings took us back to the last century (in a most positive sense).
