(It's much better to spend the night in the quiet and charming Bhaktapur than in the stressful and bustling Thamel in Kathmandu). We liked their hospitality and everything in general. We were welcomed with a scarf and a refreshing drink. We had an excellent, very spacious room with a balcony on the fourth floor. Breakfast and dinner were really good

Baber Mahal Vilas - The Heritage Hotel offers 5-star accommodation with a sauna and terrace. Bike hire and car hire are available at this hotel and the area is popular for cycling. I loved the sense of history in this hotel which is stuffed full of art, and artifacts, historical photos, and books. The food at their restaurant, K2, was exceptionally delicious. Our room was wonderfully clean and quiet, and the whole place absolutely charming and fun to explore and relax in! We liked the shops in the attached Babar Mahal Revisted too. And the staff were all lovely.

Practicing yoga in such a serene and sacred setting felt like reconnecting to our roots—truly grounding and revitalizing. We are deeply grateful for the experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious, soulful, and culturally rich stay in Kathmandu. I recently stayed at Arya Hotel & Spa and had an excellent experience overall. The location is perfect, and the reception area is beautifully designed — truly impressive from an architectural point of view. My room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the restaurant not only served a good breakfast but also has an amazing view, which makes dining even more enjoyable. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would especially like to recognize Khushbu and Ranjana at the reception — they went above and beyond to assist me. They not only arranged an early check-in but also helped with urgent photocopies and even found a nearby studio through their workmate’s reference when I needed documents for my embassy travel NOC.Their professionalism and warmth truly made a difference.
