Everything was perfect ! We really love our stay, they got a very big and beautiful garden which is my dogs favourite place ! My grandparents enjoyed that luxury breakfast and gorgeous scenery! Absolutely 5 stars!

The reception we received was exceptional. Our hosts have a wonderful home with an outstanding view of the lake, There was an unexpected generous cold plate of cheese in our room fridge which was really appreciated after a long drive. The breakfast which loosely could have been called continental was an imaginative range of cold dishes which would not have looked out of place in a 5 star hotel,

Maria’s property offers 5 star luxury and a true sense of a warm , welcoming and serene home away from home. The home is beautifully furnished has absolutely everything you could need. The view out over the water is beautiful, especially at sunset or dawn.

Aquila Haven is simply superb...Everything about the accommodation is first class...it is beautifully appointed & has all the qualities of a five star hotel...the hosts, Faith & Ralph are wonderful...they are there if you require anything, but leave you to do your own thing...a beautiful continental breakfast is provided.

It was a awesome property! The town is so peaceful and beautiful. Property is too. So wide, comfortable and clean. And host did his best for customers. Facilities were clean and amenities are always prepared. You can enjoy this property like a 5 stars hotel.

The rooms were recently renovated, clean and spacious. The bathroom was large and had great water pressure. Even had heated floors. Kitchen had all you needed to cook if you choose too. It's across the road from the lake and a short walk to eateries and wharf. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend to friends and family and would stay here next time we visit beautiful Taupo. 5 stars from us!!!
