The hotel was central to a lot of amenities like shopping, railway station, etc. The room was super nice, room service excellent. After a crazy sailing on the Cook Strait ferry from the South Island, to stay at the hotel was wonderful. Was only there one night, but would definitely stay at the hotel longer next time I am in Wellington.

The hotel decor is fresh, fun and interesting, welcoming and comfortable. A few days before our arrival, one of our group broke her hip and had emergency surgery. She was newly released from the hospital and we wanted to settle her into her room at the hotel upon the arrival of our morning ferry to Wellington. We messaged Museum Apartment Hotel and requested that she be given access to her room early and the staff was unfailingly gracious and kind in their immediate response and they arranged for our entire group to be checked into our rooms several hours early. Their kindness made a difficult situation much better.

Located in the Wellington central business district, the hotel is only minutes from Lambton Quay and Wellington Railway Station. All the staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. Interior is well designed, beautiful interior. Food in their restaurant is excellent, breakfast was amazing, one of the best in my travels.
