Bald Sayt Guest House features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Bilād Sayt. This 5-star hotel offers a shared kitchen, room service and free WiFi. Free private parking is available and the hotel also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The guest house is run by two very hospitable and friendly brothers, who originate from the nearby village. The house was built by them in a charming and authentic Omani style. From its terraces there is a breathtaking view of the high mountains and village. The silence is welcoming to the soul. There are walks and hikes that can be taken starting from the guesthouse or the 2 minute steep drive to the village below. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom and shower are simple, clean and functional. Our supper and breakfast were homemade and delicious. The were served on one of the terraces. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to experience an authentic stay in Oman. Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay.

Food was great in terms of prices and quality. Setting and accessibility to the surrounding areas is outstanding, as were the staff and their guidance for the area. The Peak coffee shop was a pleasant surprise and a great addition to the trip.

The renovation of these old Omani mountain villages is tasteful and sensitive. Staying here felt like a really authentic experience, but with modern luxury in the bathrooms and bedding. The young Omani owner is kind and welcoming. The dinner was abundant and delicious. You have fantastic views and easy access to the W18b Three Villages walk which is amazing.

Of the 3 hotels with views closest to Diana’s point at Jebel Akhdar this is my favourite because it has a good standard, has modern facilities, comfortable rooms and, because it’s smaller, it isn’t overcrowded. The staff are welcoming, very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxing. The food, whilst not haute cuisine, was cooked well, pleasant to eat and delivered with a smile. It’s not a 5 star hotel however, for the price in comparison to the other 2 nearby and given everything it offers, I would say it gives excellent value for money.

We stayed at Sahab, Jebal Akhdar, Oman. It’s a beautiful but small property. Not a 5 star but we can say It’s a beautiful 4 stars resort. The reception is very welcoming and we got checked in right away. We were very happy with the rooms. But outside the rooms, there is a noisy sunroof. The menu was limited but very good. The team and the services are one of the best from a small but happy team to serve its guests. The Biryani needs a mention. It’s one of the best !!!!!!!
