The view can't be beat. Amazing!! We had one room overlooking the canyon and in the mornings it was awe inspiring. The sunrise over the canyon was beautiful. The staff were so responsive and knowledgeable. The chef is flexible and the menu just right for the location. No frills, but excellent flavors and variety.

Don’t expect luxury but it’s a great place to stay. We enjoyed the outdoor area with the swimming pool and had a nice, basic hut with a comfortable bed.

This place is a gem, the owners go out of their way to ensure every single one of their guests get exceptional service. We had a very warm welcome, our room was lovely, the small roof terrace is a really nice place to chill in a hammock after a hike and the food in their small restaurant is superb. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. A real bonus is the help you get with your hiking and the option of joining other activities. I can’t recommend this place enough, book it if you are going to Cabanaconde.

There were few other guests so, we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite. That room was wonderful (room 31). The wine waiter/waiter Octavio and chef Dianina were extremely observant, attentive & talented. Choice of drinks, cocktails and food on the menus exceptionally good, and good value. We loved that a large proportion of the huge range of dishes on offer had some Peruvian influence, or were traditional dishes. Hot springs.
