5-star Hotel Mikołajki is located in the Ptasia Island and a peninsula on Mikołajskie Lake and it offers free access to a swimming pool, as well as Świat Saun, the complex which includes various types... Unique place as hotel is on a small island in a lake. Had indoor heated pool and bowling alley.

Hotel Willa Port is located in Ostróda, at the side of the Drwęckie Lake. It features rooms with free internet and an LCD TV with satellite channels. Very spacious room, good breakfast, great location. The Italian restaurant has very good food, especially the creme brulee was amazing. The spa/pool area was empty most of the time we were there - seems most people visit for business and don't have time to go there :) although there was also no staff there most of the time so it's a bit worrying in case e.g you faint at sauna.
