Located in between Évora’s Gothic cathedral and the Templo de Diana, this renovated convent features a courtyard swimming pool together with characteristic arched corridors and vaulted ceilings. Fabulous converted historic convent next to Roman ruins and a Michelin star restaurant. Every corner had lovely architectural detail and the very sumptuous breakfast was served in the old cloisters I think. I also had dinner there one night and it was excellent. The staff were very attentive and the front office staff arranged a special taxi tour for me last minute as I had some spare hours. The pool was very clean and secluded with comfortable loungers while the location of the hotel was marvellous and a short walk to the town centre with lots of little stores and a wide variety of restaurants.
