Bathrooms include a free-standing tub as well as free toiletries. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.

We say that time changes everyone, but I'm so glad to see that Six Senses remains exceptionally well run ~ please don't ever change that part! Also had a really enjoyable and dare I say life altering Osteopath Massage session - learnt a lot from my body and Lorenzo really did make my spine feel looser. Thank you!

Douro Royal Valley features a restaurant, outdoor and indoor pools, tennis court and a Spa & Wellness centre. I cannot say enough about this Hotel and Spa. The pool was absolutely amazing and views were stunning. Staff were outstanding and ready to help or suggest things when we needed.

Rooms at the The Vintage House - Douro include luxury bedding and modern furnishings. They come equipped with air conditioning a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The Vintage House was in a great location on the river and walking distance to several wineries and restaurants in Pinhão. Parking at the hotel was easy and our room was very comfortable with a fantastic terrace. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace admiring the view of the vineyards and the river while eating.

Spa and pool were amazing. Breakfast was very delicious. Location of the hotel was perfect.
