Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. Never have had a more luxurious stay and experience in the hotel. The infinity pools with a view straight on Douro River and valley are just breathtaking. The staff is super helpful and authentically friendly. Super looking forward to my next stay in one of the Octant hotels! There will definitely be a next time!

Additionally, the proximity to local wineries was a fantastic bonus. The wines we tasted were exceptional, adding to the overall charm of our stay.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests and ensure we had a pleasant stay.I highly recommend Sin Sexes Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and serene getaway in Douro. Primely located along the bank of the Douro River, this 5-star hotel has stunning views over the valley. This was an exceptional hotel. Best parking we've had so far in Portugal. Our room had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the river. Breakfast was to die for!! I purchased two beautiful pieces of jewelry made by a local artist that were on display in the hotel lobby as well!!!

First and foremost, your beautiful establishment and grounds and the incredible views! In addition, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious - from the charcuterie board when we arrived to our dinner in the dining room as well as the incredible breakfast buffet! This was our third time staying in your hotel and, hopefully, not the last!!

The MW Douro Wine & Spa offers 1 restaurant ( D ' Vino Flavors & Soul ) and 1 Cocktail Bar lounge ( Boho Mixology Cocktail Bar ) a Wellness & Spa center with sauna, turkish bath, indoor pool and... The view is breathtaking - make sure to book the room with the view if you want to enjoy this from your bedroom - 1/2 of the rooms don't have a view. The staff was the best I've had in Portugal. Friendly, helpful, polite, dedicated, and good English. The stay was very pleasant. The indoor pool is headed to 32C and is wonderful for evening swims and SPA facilities were open 24 hours.
