The pool area was perfect for relaxation, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

The calmness and the classy experience also the staff were extremely friendly and elegant and I had a situation that I went to hospital during the whole dinner time and I asked to make exception to me because I was very sick and didn’t have anything to eat the whole day and I finished from hospital after the dinner time (10:00 PM) already and what they did is they made a complete 2 dinner tables setup in my room with all what I ordered 💙💙

Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Keith, the head chef, for always having great suggestions for our meals and being so welcoming. Also to Isaac, Alpha, Abdella, Stella, Harry, and Ahmed for being so helpful and considerate whenever we had any questions, or were enjoying the pool, restaurant, or in-unit service! My wife and I came here to relax for our honeymoon prior to going on a Safari on the mainland and this was the perfect place for that. We did the all-inclusive package which was well worth it in our opinion. If I could rate this place 11 out of 10 I would. I would recommend this resort to anyone and would love to come back one day.

The rooms are modern, spotless, and super comfortable. The food is delicious (the beach dinner was a highlight!), and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. There’s so much to enjoy without even leaving the hotel: beach games, fun evening entertainment, a beautiful pool with a pool bar, a gym, and a relaxing spa offering massages. We also loved exploring the beaches on both sides of the hotel, pure paradise, and totally worth the walk. Don’t miss the sunrise either, it’s magical and absolutely worth waking up early for. We had such an amazing time here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Try not to get influenced by the negative reviews, I am so glad we didn't because everything was up to an incredible standard. We loved Coco such a cute addition but we are also big animal lovers. Good food, good breakfast options, clean beach with cool restaurants around. The masais were not intrusive, mainly just friendly guys. So happy we chose Karibu. The room with beach view was out of this world.
