Location is outstanding. Bed was comfy.

We opted for the high end rooms and had a beautiful terrace overlooking vineyards. Our room was luxurious. Beautiful bathroom and nice fireplace/tv area in room to chill with wine. Free parking.

Beautiful small luxury hotel in the heart of St. Helena. Great staff, comfortable rooms and use of health spa was a plus!

It is even more beautiful than on the pictures and Joanna and Brian are outstandingly warm and welcoming hosts who provide you with all amenities you might wish for. If you have the chance to get a room here - do not hesitate a second!

My wife and I loved the property. It is a great representation of classic American style and charm, full of character and lovely details. The breakfast at the hotel bakery was outstanding.

Very private location but central to fabulous restaurants and wineries. Small bed and breakfast feel with luxury amenities! The buffet breakfast was wonderful each morning, and offered with mimosas. Wine tastings offered in the evenings that were fun and interesting. The rooms and grounds were excellent for a very relaxing stay. Senza will be our go-to stay for our next visit!

Location was great - views fab and walkable to one vineyard (ashes and diamonds - amazing) and a nice restaurant although we never went. Fantastic list of recommended vineyards emailed to us after I requested - lots of 2 for 1 offers that we made use of for example.

Lovely and charming, the Bergson was a luxurious delight. The room was clean and comfortable. The skylight in the bathroom added to the charm. The huge fireplace in the continental breakfast area created a warm atmosphere to enjoy the artisan muffins, granola and compote parfait, with coffee/latte/hot chocolate/tea and milk, fruit and boiled eggs. Patio area with fountain was also charming. Excellent service as well.

We did not stay as the room was like a motel room but charged like a five star hotel suite.

We loved 1801 First Luxury Inn. Carrie, one of the proprietors, was brilliant from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We particularly enjoyed the comfy bed and the breakfasts cooked by their in-house chef.
