This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. What an incredible decoration. The property is so pretty with all the turbines from the days the hotel was a power station, mixed with modern paintings and what not. Really adds to the atmosphere. It's connected to a gastropub which was very convenient in the evening because we were tired and didn't even have to leave the property to have a nice burger and beers(plus live music). The breakfast is amazing, I got myself a delicious eggs benedict with smoked salmon. There was loadshedding but the hotel honors its past and has a generator so we were not left in the dark. Finally, loved the vibe in Thesen Island, the canals, the calm streets, etc.

St. Perfect location , clean hotel , very friendly and helpful staff , delicious breakfast, even the light options for dinner are delicious and they would cook anything we wanted just to make us happy , i love this hotel it's so cozy and beautiful.

Nestled between mountains and forests in the heart of the Garden Route, Fancourt Hotel offers luxury accommodation and features 3 Gary Player designed golf courses and a wellness centre. Went to play golf for a couple days, amazing resort. We stayed in room 3101 nice living room with fireplace with wood setup, couch 2 chairs and a round table, small terrace off the back looking out over garden. Refrigerator and bar area on back wall of living room, atrium between bedroom and large bathroom. Large bedroom comfort and quiet, peaceful place. Service impeccable from everhone great breakfast buffet or a la carte, nice restaurants, and shops, spa was booked so we couldn’t go. Fabulous garden grounds for walks. Great main bar with terrace. Great golf highly recommend the links. Will go back to play again if in SA again!

The Plettenberg is a 5-star hotel, located on a rocky headland in the heart of The Garden Route. It offers 2 infinity pools and the stylish The Plettenberg Restaurant. The hotel is beautiful- the rooms are well decorated and the view is amazing!! We were lucky enough to see whales early evening which was the cherry on top! The staff were so incredible- they made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to celebrate the fact we were on our honeymoon. It felt very special! They also catered well for the fact I was vegan- with the restaurant offering extensive options!

Boasting 360 degree views of the ocean and Keurbooms lagoon, the stylish Sky Villa Boutique Hotel offers rooms in Plettenberg Bay. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were all excellent. Breakfast was delicious and varied. We were on our honeymoon, and on our first night, we received a bottle of bubbles and chocolates to celebrate. Such a nice touch! We enjoyed celebrating New Years Eve at the hotel too. Overall, we loved our stay.
