Beautiful, spacious room with breathtaking lake view. Very good breakfasts with variety of choice. Dinners in the restaurant on the first flor where one of the best which we ever had in any of hotels, great wines. Amazing, brand new spa. Very clean room and hotel. Coffe machine in room is a big plus.

This hotel has great location, close to city center, right on the lake and it’s also very quiet. The room was spacious and had a balcony as well, that you can use during spring and summer. Breakfast was great with good selection and amazing desserts and sweet pastries. The staff were very friendly and communicative.

Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. The friendliness off the staff and willingness to help with a gluten free diet. The hôtel facilities were wonderful, the infinity pool was fabulous, the décor was very artistic and the situation by the lake was perfect.

Our room was huge with an absolutely stunning view. Breakfast was great. Location couldn´t be more central, still very easily reachable by car.

Great location right by the lake side and the town hall, I was a bit afraid of folding bed, but it was very comfortable. It is good to know that parking house is also very near, but 20 eur per day.
