The rooms are very spacious and the lake view extraordinary beautiful. The beds are comfortable with king bed and blanket. The staff was accommodating and the restaurant offers excellent food.

Built in 1543, this hotel in the centre of Zug accommodated famous guests like Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, yet it offers modern amenities like free internet and air-conditioning.

The welcome you get in City Hotel Ochsen is what would make you come back ! The little things they do great - requesting a little jug of milk when you arrive late is no problem will deliver to your room , to showing you the map of Zug. Both the man and lady on reception are brilliant and should be commended , same with the owner whom I met one of the nights . Better than any of the more expensive hotels in Zug which I’ve stayed at ! I will be back ! Rooms are well laid out , clean and cosy with beautiful modern bathroom - a pleasure .
