Four-Star Hotels in Guachaca

Casa dos Almas is simply a magical place, a peaceful accommodation located in front of the sea on Mendihuaca beach. We stayed in a double room with a sea view located on the second floor. If we could describe our room in one word, it would be cozy. Everything was very clean, tidy, and beautiful, with a spectacular view of the sea under the shade of an almond tree. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable, and the room had a fan (air conditioning is not needed with the sea breeze). The accommodation has very comfortable and pleasant common areas. We had the option of breakfast included, but we opted for the "Napolitan eggs," which were very delicious. Thanks to Maria and Ela for everything, very friendly staff. Joseph has been one of the best hosts we have met, making our experience much more enjoyable, always attentive and kind. He instructed us very well about the place, helped us with everything we needed, and guided us on some activities like the Cacao Tour; he knows a lot about the area and told us about the culture and biodiversity. Probably many have not heard about Mendihuaca beach; it is a recent destination for tourists but offers tranquility and spectacular landscapes, located a few kilometers from Tayrona National Park and with easy access to the city of Santa Marta and nearby places of interest like the Sierra Nevada, Palomino, and other beaches. There are various activities available such as kayaking, surfing lessons, massages, among others, and transportation to other areas of the region is easy through moto-taxis. The local cuisine is not very extensive but offers more than enough delicious options, with Humbe as a recommendation, though all the restaurants we tried were delicious. We highly recommend this place for those who want to spend some time disconnecting and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay, right by the sea, surrounded by palm trees and immersed in nature. The food and cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The Wi-Fi is great and works everywhere. There are many spots to relax, and the chalets are really beautiful. The only downside was that the water in the bathrooms is cold, and they could have been cleaner. Also, there was nothing provided to dry your hands with. Despite that, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d love to come back!

Brisa Tranquilla checked all the boxes. The beautiful serene location, the gorgeous suite with an enormous bed and gorgeous bathroom and balcony. Breakfast included and daily cleaning services. We had the best food, best service, even laundry service! I absolutely adored my stay and didn't want to leave. The wifi is absolutely excellent for remote work. They went above and beyond to organize a private dinner for my fiance and I, a surprise he organized for me with the staff, and it was absolutely insta-worthy! You can easily eat at the other hotel restaurants next door, great atmosphere and can't wait to go back. Truly and honestly one of my best stays ever.

We had a truly great stay at Senda Maloka Barlovento. It was exactly as described, with a comfortable room, amazing views and sea access, a pretty pool and excellent drinks and a reasonable menu.

Absolutely perfect stay! The scenery is breathtaking, the beach is pristine, and the amenities are top. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Everything — from the atmosphere to the service — was truly perfect. Highly recommended!

We could not ask for a better place. The house is like a dream, with a nice terrace looking into the beach and the sea. My favourite part was the bathroom, which was outdoor but really sheltered. Jorge was very kind and helpful. In the room there is good coffee (real one) and a cafetière. Next door there is a restaurant where we had wonderful breakfast every day and the best pizza in Colombia (I am Italian and really fussy about pizza). We could park the car just behind the property.

Wonderfull jungle vibe experience. The swimming pool was also great. We requested a change to our booking and the staff accommodated us immediately. Such a good service. The beaches nearby are so wonderful. I recommend going to Playa Los Angeles. Quiet and beautiful.

Food is excellent , views are breathtaking and staff is super friendly
