Stay here if you want a tranquil paradise! The bungalows are absolutely beautiful and the grounds are a stunning jungle. The beach is ten second’s walk away. The food is super delicious & the staff are sweet & attentive. It’s incredibly good value for money - 4 or even 5 star standard for 2 star prices. I’d also really recommend doing some of the tours the hotel offers - they’re much cheaper than if you Google. I went horse riding & to an indigenous village & both experiences were so special.

Rincon is really clean and comfortable place to stay! The accommodation was located a short distance from the beach, which made the pool a nice addition! the room was small and clean. Breakfast was simple and good! The main streets of Palomino are right next door. Warm recommendation for this trendy and affordable hostel😊

The owners and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. The air conditioned room was excellent value and we had a double bed each. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay and it is only a short walk to the beach. We very much recommend a stay here. Also the owner very kindly offered us a lift to Santa Marta on the day we were leaving as he was going there that day. 😀

I had a really amazing stay at Makao Beach Hotel. Luis was really nice and welcoming, helping us out whenever we needed anything. We came here to wind down a little bit after some intens travel days, and we loved the sound of the ocean while sleeping! would definitely recommend this place

Absolutely beautiful spot on the beach, lots of spaces to sit beach front, room was spacious, clean and wonderfully cool because of the fan and air conditioning. Staff were all wonderful. Food tasty!!
