We had such a warm welcome. The room was very well appointed and newly refurbished in a historic schloß on the outskirts of Bayreuth. The castle itself is a very special place to stay, the wonderful breakfast on the terrace was a particular highlight.

The hotel is one minute walk from the old town. Festpilhaus 30 minutes walk, taxi 7-8 minutes. The breakfasts are excellent. A bus to the festpilhaus is organized. The hotel is convenient for the festival. The staff at the reception helps in all matters, polite, responsive.

Location is amazing, even though it is noisy outside we barely heard a thing in our room. Everything is walking distance from here making it very accessible.

Arvena is a very well organised hotel. The staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. My room was on the 5th floor facing a nice building surrounded by trees, which I love. They provided a shuttle service to the Bayreuth opera house which was very enjoyable.
