The hotel location is excellent - just a few hundred meters away from landmark sites, such as Albert Park, the Thurston botanical garden and the Fiji Museum. The comfort of my room was great and the view was exceptional, amazing, superb. But above all, the greatest asset of the Tanoa Plaza Hotel is its staff. I began my stay in Suva with two days of leisure activities, staying on for another five days to run a workshop with participants from 6 countries from the region. The hotel general manager Mere went above and beyond to provide great customer service and ensure that everything runs smoothly for us. What’s not to like? You get an apt with a washing machine and kitchen, fans and aircon. It’s right on one of the main roads. Taxis are easy to grab hold of. You’re away from the crowded cbd, still close to shops and restaurants. The host and staff are super friendly and check regularly whether all’s good. Highly recommended.
