Ideal location - a few minutes walk (pedestrianised) from the centre of Albi. Great for shopping (which we did a lot of!), as not too far at all to carry shopping bags. Very clean and a wonderful conversion of an old town house - very atmospheric. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The twin beds on the second floor can actually be made into a large double (on request) which made our sleeping arrangements very comfortable indeed. We could have had use of the garage but - as we’d found a space in a free car park about a 10 minute walk away - we left the car there. Restaurants literally next door, although we didn’t eat at any of them, having selected a couple of other restaurants to try. The kitchen was well-equipped and - as the fabulous covered market (with a supermarket underneath) is less than a five-minute walk away - this made self-catering very easy indeed.
