In the old car- low center of Chartre near the cathedral we were welcomed very friendly by Marthe in the beautiful old bishop's house (14th century) that is renovated and tastefully decorated in every detail. We had breakfast in the calm and peaceful garden. We got perfect instructions on how to reach the house and we could park the car in the private parking. Everything was looked after with personal care and flexibility.

The hotel is very well located, with a very attentive staff. The room is huge and extremely comfortable. The design around the bed is funny and if we're not careful, we might bump our heads, but it didn't affect our stay. The shower was the best we had on our trip through France. It was worth it."

I have been in France for nearly 2 months and have stayed in many different accommodations This property whilst small and compact had everything. Toilet paper for one thing that's been the biggest shock not many places have it., condiments if cooking, even an umbrella, so many extras that others do not provide. The biggest stand out was the quality bed linens, the bed was comfortable and it was so nice to have a separate top sheet. I wish I had stayed longer I loved Chartres. And the property is so close to the gare. Communication A+
