For a start, the view from the living room is wonderful. Being on a hill, you can see straight across the Menai Straits to Anglesey. The amount of wardrobe space was a pleasant surprise, as was the kitchen. We quite often stay in self catering accommodation in France/Italy/Netherlands and the amount of cutlery/crockery/pots and pans provided is frequently pitiful. At Isallt there is plenty of everything. The other thing that should be emphasised is the convenience of the location. It is very central to North Wales. We travelled in the directions of Snowdon, Llanrwst, Llandudno, Anglesey and Porthmadog during our stay and journey times were never much more than an hour.

Quiet and atmostpheric location. The views and scenery are stunning. The cottage is perfect, done to a high standard with everything you need. We had a lovely stay.

It was all perfect. Bit of a tricky walk to town centre at times on road (if you choose to walk, like we do!!), taxi may be safer BUT the cottage was really lovely, comfy and cosy, welcome nibbles, comfy bed, and all super quiet. Ponies were super cute. Rhian the host was very lovely too. Thank you we will be back :-)

The setting is so authentically historical. Many places to eat, gather , and imbibe. We LOVED THE STAFF. Wow, they all were so professional and couldn’t do enough for us. Especially Delwin, Jude , and Eryl. They are such hard workers.
