We enjoyed our stay at Dunallen. The hosts were very friendly and we appreciated the time taken to check on our needs. We were able to walk to a Cricket match, which being from the USA we had never seen before. Shops and restaurants were also within walking distance, It was a well kept Guest House and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling this way.

The four of us thought this guest house was superb. The hosts are very kind, we’re all very sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer. The guest house was spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Thank you.

We stayed at The Stable Cottages. It was very clean and every nook and cranny was cleaned. The room was very spacious and much nicer than it looked in the photos. And the staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was convenient because you could basically eat dinner at any time. Breakfast was average. The grounds are very large and it was fun to walk around. We will definitely choose this hotel when staying in the area.

From the moment we pulled up in the car! Helen & Paul’s impeccable hospitality. Our room (Thistle room) was just beautiful. Everything from the bed to the chairs in the room, the decor. The bathroom had everything we needed. Breakfast was made to order and perfect with home-made granola and yoghurt.
