Staff was really excellent. When we arrived, Mariyana helped us with evertrhing. She was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. Alsof her collegeaus were very nice, attentive and friendly. Really good hotel, nice and clean rooms, parking for.your car, great location. The option for a small bite at the pool (Olives, cheese and ham) would have made.it perfect. But without that we also had a great stay!!!

Very comfortable and quiet hotel, beautiful location, excellent service. Breakfast was the cherry on the cake - as vegetarians and not eating gluten for health reasons, our expectations of hotel food are very minimal, but every morning provided a pleasant surprise: a mini feast to start the day, from polenty and berry porridge to smoked goat’s cheese. So much creativity and care, we felt very spoilt. Thanks for everything!

Rooms are beautiful, updated and spacious. Breakfast was included in our package and there was more than plenty of different foods to choose from. Cold cereals, yogurts, assorted buns, croissants, sliced bread for toast, jams, fresh honey, selection of sliced meats and cheese, boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, sautéed vegetables, freshly sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, assorted fruits… and if that’s not enough, you can order scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes or waffles once you’re seated. Staff is super friendly and helpful, reception staff speaks several languages so no problems for communication. For our first week, we stayed in the ‘attic’ room overlooking the ocean because it was the only room available at the time and we were not sure what to expect, but the room was great, view was awesome, even with no balcony. The window spans from wall to wall and even opens! No regrets. For our second week, we booked a superior room with a balcony and sea view, breakfast included. This hotel has a great lunch and dinner menu with top rated chef and cooking staff. Food has been delicious. Just to note, the cleaning staff is excellent and if you need any extras they bring it to you quickly. We had free parking available at this hotel. There are a few more hotels in this vicinity, but this hotel cannot be beat. This is our second time at Tamaris hotel. Thank you

Extra praise for Dana at the front desk! friendly and warm and full of knowledge about the area. Treat yourself to the loft bedroom if you can: epic 360 rooftop views of village, waterfront, and mountains.

    The breakfast was good both the cold food (yogurt, milk, cereals) and the cooked food (different type of eggs). It was enough and good. The location is perfect, it is a couple of minutes walk from the beach and only a short walk from the city center or the ferry to Island of Brac. You can find many restaurants nearby. The quality of the hotel and the clean is exceptionell and for a surprise they had an electric car charger which could I used.

    The apartment was very clean, really stylish with a modern vibe and super comfortable. The view from the location was beautiful, so it was a prefect place to relax. Also I was really satisfied with the hospitality and the always supporting approach of the hosts, they are really nice persons. Apartment Penthouse Mak is a perfect choice for a holiday accomodation in the Makarska region, I would truly recommend it :)

    Dany Apartments was just perfect for us. It’s close to the beach and easy walk to the city centre. The accommodation is beautifully renovated, very clean and modern. Dany and his family are wonderful hosts were very hospitable, they made us feel welcome and helped us in every way they could.

    The apartment was very nice and modern, suitable for a big group/families. Živka was a very hospitable and kind. She was really helpful and gave us lots of tips on things to do in Makarska. The location of the apartment is great if you do not mind approx. 20 min walk to the city centre. There are nice bakeries and beaches nearby!
