We really liked the attitude towards our beloved dog, there was a sleeping place for the dog in the room, a soft blanket, bowls and gifts, she ate meat sticks with pleasure, a ball, water, bags, it was incredibly nice, our dog felt great! and we decided that she would come again and not just once. WoW!!! Where to start?!? Paul and Nicki are the owners/hosts and they are just brilliant. Attentive, helpful, funny, and a blast to talk to. We had many questions on where to tour and they gave us endless recommendations and advice, all of which were spot on. Nicki makes home made cakes for you to enjoy while you are there. The room itself was large, well appointed, and comfy. But the best part of the inn was the library. It was like your own large living room at home. Complete with books, games, and a bar! breakfast was the best we had in England. And it was always served with a smile! We loved it so much , we actually booked an additional night. The inn is ideally located. Just off the main street through town but less than 5 minute walk to all the pubs, shops and restaurants.
