We liked the view, the food, it's quiet, we got upgraded to a bigger room, the staffs were very nice.

We loved the location of this property. It is so very quiet and peaceful. We went on a lovely walk through vineyards and olive trees and saw loads of wild boar and their offspring. The restaurant was nice with good food and good value. Our room was very spacious and clean with a rustic feel.

Set on Castiglione della Pescaia Harbour at the mouth of the Bruna River, Hotel L'Approdo features a rooftop breakfast terrace. It has a restaurant and simply decorated, air-conditioned rooms.

We chose the hotel for the fact they cater for celiacs (we found it via the AIC app). The breakfast was very good with packaged glutine free options, plus a toaster set aside with glutine free bread as well as fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs etc being available. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that our second morning a freshly baked chocolate cake had been made for us! We had half board and the food was excellent, with plenty of choice for gluten free options. The location was very convenient and staff very helpful.

We did not use the pool or spa, although the pool area was huge and emmaculate. Breakfast was wonderful.

Fantastic that you can literally park right outside your room. Also good food and staff very helpful.

The accomodation was stunning , the staff were absolutely extraordinary with their warmth and care, attention to detail , the chef and owners were lovely people I would recommend this property to everyone we will be back
