The hotel was perfect for us. The room we stayed in had 2 separate rooms...one for my wife and one for our son. Lots of room and always very well kept. The gym was a bonus, breakfast was good and had a good selection and there was an abundance of parking spots at the hotel (never had to worry about not having a spot to park in when I returned late). Will definitely return to BV the next time we visit.

The breakfast area itself is quite small, but if you're not traveling in a large group, it's very suitable for a small breakfast with a couple of sandwiches. Breakfast, as is the Italian way, is full of cakes and buns to nibble on with a cappuccino or a tiny ristretto from the coffee bar, but there was also fresh fruit, orange juice, mineral water, milk, serials, a cheese and meat platter and even a hard-boiled egg. The selection was not huge, but it was enough to avoid having to eat the same thing every day. The hotel is an 18-minute walk from the train station, close to many dining options and nearby shopping, and 24 minutes' on foot to the University of Calabria.
