The hotel was very good and has everything needed to have a fantastic stay which we obviously had over the Christmas period. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two even though we had their normal economy double room. The food from breakfast which had a big selection from hot to cold was great and dinner was fantastic along with the service by the restaurant staff. Always polite, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The facilities were spot on with a lovely garden area. Undercover spacious parking lot which was a nice surprise. The free use of the indoor pool was great and if needed also Spa facilities with reasonable prices but we did not use these so cannot comment. We booked the Christmas Eve set dinner and the Christmas Day set lunch which both were fantastic and we were so pleased we booked these, it made our Christmas that little bit more special, so a big thank you to all the restaurant staff, the chefs and kitchen staff, we appreciated all your efforts. The bar area was very comfortable with lots of room to sit and reflect on the day's activities. The bar service by "the best barman in the world" 😊 who was always very friendly and made you feel like you had known him forever! Although this goes for all the staff from the reception to the restaurant staff and the cleaners, I couldn't speak highly enough of them all. The free shuttle service into Assisi (5 minutes) 4 times a day was excellent and saved a 20 minute walk which is a bit hilly, so was very much appreciated for us. The price was also very reasonable for such a lively Hotel. Many many thanks to everyone at the BV Grand Hotel Assisi for making our Christmas stay so comfortable and memorable, we will definitely return in the new year and will recommend the hotel to all our friends.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and both experiences were excellent. The location is perfect—right on the main street and just a short walk from the stunning Basilica of Santa Chiara. A major plus was that taxis could drop us off directly at the hotel entrance, which was especially convenient since we had heavy luggages. Lugging it through cobblestone streets and stairs would have been quite a challenge otherwise. The hotel itself is elegant, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. Photos accurately displays the hotel's facilities. A lift is available, making access even easier. Our room was spacious for two people, with comfortable seating and ample luggage storage. We also appreciated the smart TV, which allowed us to stream Netflix from our own devices. Another thoughtful touch was the complimentary bottled water, replenished daily. Breakfast was great—a generous buffet with a variety of breads, spreads, cold cuts, sweet pastries, and beverages, including freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and tea. Overall, this hotel offers a fantastic combination of comfort, convenience, and quality. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the feeling of being in a beautiful remote countryside scene in a very holy place! One had the sense that all around there was a great natural peace full of wonderful surprises of wildlife, plants and herbs: quite simply stunning! The staff, especially Simeon, Julie and Eleanora as well as our lovely lady in the restaurant went over and above : coming out to find us as we got lost in a location unknown to us at midnight! I don’t know how to thank them enough, especially Simeon and Julie : we intend to return to thank you personally 🙏💖

Absolutely superb experience. Fabulous room, grounds and hotel immaculately clean and well maintained. Food superb and staff could not do more to help - very professional and friendly. This is a 5 star stay. I am fussy and could not find one fault.
