Loved the efficient and prompt check in service. Staff could speak English and were very helpful. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant was terrific with great service from the restaurant staff.     Incredible historic building that has been tastefully and newly renovated inside. Very clean, stylish and comfortable. Was literally the perfect, ideal Japan countryside experience. The staff were the best we had in all of Japan. We will stay here again and recommend to all our friends going to kusatsu.

    Location was great. The tatami room with a western bed was nicely arranged to look traditional and modern at the same time. Having an Onsen in the hotel was great. The place was so clean it felt new. Amenities were nice.
