Cayman IslandsThis was the nicest stay ata hotel I have had in Japan, and one of my top stay experiences ever - and I travel a lot - over 100 countries so far. The room was impeccable - traditional yet comfortable for Westerners, with Westen style beds, with a lovely view. The private onsen was designer standard - wouldn’t be out of place in an interior design magazine- and unbelievable view over the river. The food - unbelievable - all local ingredients and even the liquor on offer either home made or local - simple but tasting fantastic. And perhaps the best part are the staff - a true family business and everyone so kind and helpful. Felt like staying with friends rather than a commercial property. I can’t recommend it enough. Simply world class.

Our Japanese-style room was spacious and with a lovely garden view. There was also a new private bath which was fabulous.
