Great staff. They made sure to have someone on hand who had lived in the US and spoke perfect English, and had translated the menu for our group of mixed Japanese language ability. Comfortable rooms and great baths.

Everything!! The room was stunning with its private onsen where we could customize the water temperature while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views. The staff went above and beyond with their exceptional kindness and attentiveness. A special mention goes to the onsen lady! It was a pleasure communicating with her despite language barriers. The apartment is close to the station and offers all you could need. Communication with Yamaguchi has been great; he always responded almost immediately and offered us an early check in. i would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nagano.

Excellent place to stay. Magnificent onsen and ski slopes. This hotel is a perfect place for people who love skiing and look for open-air onsen. Buffet breakfast and dinner are great. You can eat crab as much as you can. Open-air bath is very beautiful. Ski-in ski-out hotel. Acess to the hotel is convenient via shuttle bus from Karuizawa station.
