It was very unique experience. This very charming traditional Japanese ryokan is within short distance from the train (or bus) station. Everything was clean and well organised there. We spent really very relaxing enjoyable moments there. It feels all very authentic (including delicious Japanese dining) and the stuff is also very friendly and welcoming. 100% worth it!

Room was way more than I was expecting, stayed for one night, wish I could've stayed another! Room size was big for Japanese standards with a great view of the city and mountains. There were plenty of amenities (The coffee/tea machine was fun to use!), lots of nice relaxing bathroom treats too, thank you! Shower was great and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The cinnamon rolls and fresh apples were delicious! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!! ありがとうございます!

The room was comfortable, and spacious. The view of Nagano city from the room was breathtaking. The staff were helpful, and the hotel is basically next door to the train station, making it super convenient for traveling. Easy to book a snow monkey visit.
