The owner was very welcoming and nice. The first thing he did was take a lot pictures for me before asking me to check in. He was a very professional photographer, he took from a lot of angles and backgrounds. The food and service were very exceptional. The onsen pass was also included but the best one was from the ryokan itself. You can have the cave onsen all to yourself without reservation.

A recently renovated ryokan in Toyooka and within 2.8 km of Kinumaki Shrine, Kobayashiya -Kinosaki Onsen- features a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi.

The hotel was very well situated in the town. It had beautiful views of the central river and a beautiful Japanese garden at the back of the property. The decor is contemporary Japanese minimalism, with careful attention to detail. Thoughtful touches of the traditional property have been preserved. The pillows and bed were extremely comfortable.

Shinzan Kinosaki features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 3.8 km of Kinumaki Shrine and 5.2 km of Seto Shrine.

Right at the end of the tourist center of town. Onsens are beautiful as well as the view from the top floor lounge. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy.

We stayed here for one night and wished we had stayed another. The room we stayed in was beatutiful, traditional yet modern at the same time. Kazuki and his family were great hosts, very warm, welcoming and helpful. Kazuki was always willing to drop us to places and had framed a photo ready for us before we left :) The cafe next door also has really good food! Would highly recommed this place !
