Don't hesitate - book it! Maho is a pure, peaceful treasure, newly built with all amenities you need & a beautiful pool. It's very quiet & idyllic there. Best bathroom we had in Sri Lanka & always hot water. The bed is pure heaven! Located directly near the old city :) Hosts & staff are priceless - they go above & beyond to ensure a perfect stay! They even look for the best prices in trips & transportation & will tell you everything 100 % transparentely. Food was veeery tasty! Breakfast is included & they additionally offer lunch & dinner as well. It was really hard to leave this stunning place & everyone working there! We even extended our stay. Thank you for everything! Our 3rd time in Sri Lanka was a lot more perfect with staying here :D

We believe this is one of the best hotels in this area. Convenient access to the property from the town. Very good staff with loyalty and respectfulness. More spacious rooms with a very good ensuite bathroom. Clean and tidy. Restaurants offer delicious meals with good portions. Highly recommended to stay. We had a truly wonderful stay at Diyakawa Boutique Hotel! This beautiful, small-scale hotel is run by incredibly kind local owners who take genuine care of their guests. Everything radiates peace, warmth, and heartfelt hospitality. One of the absolute highlights was the cooking experience they regularly organize — and it’s even included for guests. Such a unique and fun way to get to know the delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. The hotel is also one of the best places to eat in the area. The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is exceptionally friendly. It’s possible to eat at the lake, which is amazing. A lovely moment was when the owners’ twelve-year-old daughter came over to chat with our kids — such a sweet girl, and already speaking good English! Also the hotelmanager Deepthi extended the service by advising our food, explaining the history of Anarudhapura and entertaining the kids in the evening. The pool is wonderfully refreshing, and the view over the lake is simply stunning. A peaceful oasis to return to after a day of exploring. Plus, it’s the perfect base for a visit to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Highly recommended for anyone looking for personal service, relaxation, and authentic Sri Lankan hospitality.

Initially we had an issue with our booking dates, and we spoken with Mr Sangeeth, who went an extra mile to sort out the issue, promptly and efficiently.Mr.Anura who has wealth of knowledge about the area,guided us throughout.also the receptionists were very helpful and Mr Manoj service was top of the class.Buffet was good, fairly a good array of selection to choose from.overall a great experience, amazing staff and spacious rooms.thank you all.keep up your good work ethics!

I was travelling with my family and we stayed over for 1 night and purchased dinner and breakfast at the site. Dinner was a la carte and the staff were very accommodating to modify the meals to suit our egg and lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet. Breakfast was lavish including a fruit platter, egg of your choice and string hoppers with vegetarian curries and tea or coffee. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, there was ample parking space and the bathrooms were clean .
