This is an absolutely fantastic hotel with amazing staff, surroundings and amenities. Being far from the city hustle and bustle and located almost on top of a mountain, it offers an incrediblly beautiful view of foggy mountains from the long balcony or swimming pool. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. They will do their best to make your stay comfortable. A huge thank you to everybody and especially to the girls in the reception, the waiter with nice English pronunciation and the Cheif who made amazing dishes for us. Would definitely come back again when in Kandy or nearby.

what an amazing property. we were thoroughly looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was exceptional. we wanted traditional Sri Lankan curries and that’s what was prepared for us with spices and fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. the rooms were huge. the gardens and views were stunningly beautiful and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds and monkeys. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕

Villa Arunalu is a wonderful place to stay. The couple who run it are friendly and always ready to help, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast & the dinner they offered was good and satisfying. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. I recommend Villa Arunalu for anyone visiting the area!

After having left noisy Kandy and traffic behind, this place was a haven of peace. The lack of noise was what hit me first. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The views were stunning. Hanthana mountain is in front at the other side of a deep valley and the Knuckles Range to the right. Crickets were chirping when I went to sleep, and I woke up to a chorus of birds. All in all, I came back in a better mindset that I went in with.

The owners are incredibly nice and helpful! The rooms are very large and nicely furnished. The bathroom is also very large and clean - Generally, the accommodation is very well kept. We felt very very comfortable and would definitely recommend it!
