Room) our room was a studio, which must be the smallest, but it was huge. Due to the way the building was constructed, our unit has 2 areas - a very spacious living & kitchen area and a very spacious bed room. We enjoyed our little rest in the middle of the dat after a big walk etc. It really was pleasant to be there. Each room is named after a local legend, which really is lovely. Our bed was very comfy. Location) it is located right behind Coimbra University. Very convenient to go anywhere in Coimbra. And, if you go to/from Coimbra Railway Station, the taxi fare should not go over €10. Breakfast) unfortunately, we did not try dinner there, but the breakfast they served us amazing. Various types of bread & yummy pancakes. I would like to tell you how nice their scrambled eggs and veggies were! I had their breakfast 3 times, but they never disappointed me. In fact, I always looked forward to their breakfast. Staff) all the staff were very friendly and helpful. As one of them told us, they were professional with a human touch. All in all, we loved our stay wholeheartedly. When going back to Coimbra one day, we will definitely go back to Sapiential.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and our room equally so. LOVED the concept of the marble books throughout the bathroom area. Bed - amazing. Pillows - like a cloud (as Lara promised!) Breakfast buffet was far beyond the basic pastries at other hotels; and the ability to order scrambled eggs was a real treat. And the food was so fresh and beautifully presented. And your staff provided the best customer service we ever experienced. Lara was so professional, yet warm and engaging, taking the time to answer questions about Coimbra and give us a short history about the hotel itself. Ana Jesus was also lovely; quick to help however she could.

Dating back to the 18th century, Palacio de Sao Silvestre is a Baroque-style hotel refurbished to modern standards.

Very comfortable with great facilities. The personnel were excellent in every area, and very friendly, relaxed, and communicative - but professional at the same time. The food (breakfast, dinner, and the odd room-service) was always very good, and plenty of choice - main dishes always changed from day-to-day. We even complimented the chef on one of them. The swimming-pool was a welcome addition to cool off on some of the hot days. Here again the service at the kiosk was excellent. We really enjoyed an evening of live music in the pool area. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

NH Coimbra Dona Ines is located within a 10-minute walk of the Coimbra centre and Coimbra Train Station. It features a business centre, tennis court, outdoor pool and car rental facilities.

Stepping into this Hotel was stepping into elegance and class. Friendly staff to welcome us on arrival. Free, on site parking. The front lawn was well maintained with a fabulous swimming pool. The room provided dressing gowns and slippers and a welcome tray of little biscuits. Wifi good and a large spacious bathroom with shower over bath. We recommend this property. This would be a great accommodation for some quality time with your partner. Thank you.

Dear reader Even though I don't usually give reviews because they are usually subjective, I would like to give one now. I stayed at this beautiful hotel together with a work colleague in CW12 2024. We were given a very warm welcome, almost like a family, and you could see how everyone looked after the guests. The breakfast was excellent and you got everything you needed the homemade bread or the rolls were very tasty. The restaurant was also very good, for the first time in my life I ate goat, a speciality, I can only recommend trying it. All in all it was a great time on site and I highly recommend this hotel.
