Great staff, ready to meet any need to make our stay enjoyable. It was quiet and peaceful and the beach was beautiful. No crowds. We had the beach to ourselves. Great for older folks like us and I think it would be wonderful for families with children. The free breakfast was made to order and was always well-cooked and attractively served. Special orders to make mine diabetes friendly gave them no problem -- and they remembered my needs the entire week without my making repeated requests.

Just 45 minutes from Krabi International Airport, Islanda Hideaway Resort is the only resort on Klang Island — a peaceful fisherman village where no cars are allowed and life moves at a gentle pace.

The hotel Is perfect gateway from PhiPhi crowds. It is perfectly hidden in the jungle and just a 5min walking distance to the lovely village. The beach is small but lovely and the there is some reef to snorkel and kayak. The breakfast was very nice with amazing view. Service - excellent

TIPS: 1. On arrival at Railay Pier, take a longtail to the hotel's pier (about BHT200), it is easier than navigating a walk with baggage. 2. The resort is set on a cliff in a tropical jungle with majestic views.  Expect some steps and paths with some incline. You hear birds all day long, monkeys playing in the trees. 3. The resort is located directly on a beach, but it is not a swim beach.  Instead,  chill at the pool with views of the looming cliffs and turquoise waters. 4. The cottages are simply amazing. Eco friendly building materials like bamboo, palm leaves and wood add to the jungle feel. 5. The relaxing 10 minute walk from the resort to Railay and the swim beaches is a beautiful contour walk way along the bay and cliff, with breathtaking views. It is also well lit for evening walks. 6. Our favourite swim beach was Pra Nang, for sunset West Railay Beach. The resort offer a beach bag with a beach mat, towels and even slops. 7. There is no roads on Railay, so the only way in and or out for tourists, workers, produce and goods are by boat. Those tail boats are noisy, especially amplified on a cliff as sound travels up. This is Railay life, just accept it and go with it. If you prefer less noise, consider booking along Pra Nang Beach. But the vistas from the resort, ironically  including the romantic setting of the Longtails coming past,  was worth it. The tranquility of the jungle more than compensate for the boat traffic noise. 8. Certain times of the day the hotel offers a free longtail ferry to Ao Nang Pier, and vice versa.

We had room at the pool and it was a perfect choice. The whole area is beautiful and location is perfect. Good breakfasts on the beach, beach towels, every day cleaning, supplies with water, wonderful pool, good restaurant also for dinner/lunch. We had airport transport provided by the hotel and I highly recommend that. Staff very nice. Rooms are huge and very private. I was positively surprised by everything. And the Railay Beach and other nearby beaches are just stunning.
