Very easy to drive or cycle to everything. Fantastic welcome on arrival and every staff member acknowledges you as they pass. Huge thanks to Micah, Kayla and Chance. Great facilities! The beach is a bit rough, but you can easily cycle or drive to great swimming places. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfasts each day were excellent. Over 4 days we tried everything on the menu including breakfast tacos, three eggs, waffles and lobster benedict. The waiters and waitresses were wonderful and friendly, especially Koko and Marlina!

The property is so pretty and the location offers the best beach of the Island. Poipu Beach is incredible beautiful and perfect for both sunrises and sunsets. The presence of sea turtles and seals are definitely a bonus. I'm verry happy that volunteers are protecting the animals on the beach against overenthusiastic tourists. The beach gets crowded during the day but there is enough space at the swimming pool or on the beach chairs (reserved for hotel guests only) in front of the beach. Marriott's Waihohai Beach Club is a good base to explore the island like the Waimea canyons, whale watching... The room was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. We loved our stay here!

Surrounded by tropical gardens and offering direct beach access, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beach Boy features spacious condo-style accommodations along with on-site spa services and dining.

Check-in and parking was easy. The hotel is right at the beach and our 2nd floor apartment was the third away from the ocean but had a good sea view and one could hear the waves (as well as chicken, as Kauai is the Garden and Chicken Island of Hawaii - they are simply everywhere). The big pool area was very nice and well-maintained. The appartment was sufficiently equipped for preparing and eating food in the apartment. The airport is not far but beware of the rush hour on workdays - in the morning to Lihue and in the afternoon from Lihue. All attractions are easy to reach by car and/or a bit of hiking but depening on traffic, you better plan a day trip if you are going all north (Tunnels Beach, etc.) or south (especially Waimea Canyon). The shopping center next door is convenient and supermarkets are not far away.
