Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the mountains, Posada de los Poetas Hotel Boutique is set in San Lorenzo in the Salta Province Region, 10 km from Salta. To wake up with the birds singing made me feel so peaceful. It is a charming place, with excellent customer service. If you like to walk, it is great to get to cafes and restaurants. But if you don’t want to get out for dinner, you can order empanadas, humitas, tamales or pizza from their kitchen, and they will deliver to your room. Very convenient and good food.

This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here!

Legado Mitico Salta Hotel Boutique features a blend of traditional and contemporary design, set in a 1930s house in Salta´s historical centre. Charming and beautiful hotel. Outstanding facilities and very quiet. Our room was extremely comfortable and we loved our private walled off courtyard. Breakfast was ample. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and were happy to make recommedations and went out of their way to be helpful.

Located in the Calchaqués Valley, in the heart of the Salta mountains, the elegant La Merced Del Alto Hotel offers a wine cellar with tastings and outdoor swimming pool. We have stayed at La Merced Del Alto 5 times. Love the place and staff and the restaurant is excellent. Will come to stay again.

The hotel is very well kept and looks recently renovated. The rooms are very large and the bed is comfortable. They have put a lot of work into all details of making the hotel welkomming. It has s good atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpfull. The hotell is situated outside the center of Salta and that is the reason why we choose it. The Uber is very cheap and only 10 minutes from the center of Salta, but there are also many restaurants within a walking distance.
