Fürstenhaus Am Achensee is a 4-star superior hotel located right on the shore of Lake Achen, offering panoramic views of the Alps. The 3,000 m² spa area features indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views, various massage showers, and a large hot tub right above the lake. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist added a personal touch that enhanced our stay. We opted for the half-pension option, and the meals were absolutely delicious! Both breakfast and dinner were flavorful and satisfying, showcasing a variety of tasty dishes that catered to different preferences.The private garden and spa were a highlight of our stay. We loved the unique experience of being able to swim from our building to the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. It was a warm and relaxing way to unwind while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, the Aja Hotel provided a memorable and enjoyable getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing !

The nearest supermarket was the 'Dorfladen', where you can get all your essentials from this local store.

All rooms at the Sonnenhof also offer a flat-screen TV, a seating area or sofa, and a bathroom with a make-up mirror and hairdryer. The rooms were very clean and spacious with lots of amenities including spa towels, spare rucksack and walking sticks for anyone hiking the local national park. It’s a very comfortable room and we had a double aspect and balcony which was lovely to admire the view of the mountains. The staff were exceptional in making our stay with them the best it could be. The food is exceptional and I highly encourage booking half board as you will not regret it. The breakfast is varied for all diets and the quality of ingredients is extremely good. If staying for dinner you will get a menu at breakfast for dinner with 4 choices of main dinner. The choice of buffet starter is delicious and then there is always a soup choice too. I absolutely loved the soups such as tomato consommé. Then the main dinners and desserts are excellent, I honestly cannot speak highly enough about how great the restaurant is, the creativity of the dishes, flavours and presentation are exceptional. Dishes such as the dessert of lingonberry pancakes with sour ice and local wild blueberries had us talking how delicious it was several times the next day! Then other thoughtful touches like a daily MorganPost newsletter giving weather predictions, hiking routes and things to do as well as offers from the spa were really appreciated. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. The quality of everything from the amenities, the cleanliness, the staff and restaurant are excellent. We had to leave to get our flight before breakfast started and this came up just by chance in a conversation and we were immediately invited to the restaurant thirty minutes early so as not to miss out on breakfast before our journey. You would not get this from a big chain of hotels and shows just how much guests are valued at the Sonnerhof.

Staff was incredibly friendly, very clean, breakfast and dinner were amazing. Spa was also very clean and wonderful. We will definitely come back, such a great stay.
