The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly!

Overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the 4-star hotel Weinrefugium Brolli is located 5 km from the centre of Gamlitz. We only stayed one night at Weinrefugium Brolli on our way down to Croatia, but that was more than enough to experience the charm and warmth of this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding – genuinely welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, modern, and offered stunning views over the vineyards – a perfect place to unwind. Dinner was a true highlight, with fantastic food and excellent wine pairing recommendations that really elevated the experience. All in all, a memorable short stay – we would love to come back for a longer visit!

Set in the centre of the wine village Gamlitz along the South-Styrian Wine Road, a 3-minute walk from the castle, Hotel am Marktplatz - Landgasthof Wratschko - Gamlitz offers fine Styrian and... Although I’ve stayed just for 1 night passing through on my journey I was upgraded to a nice room which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. They also allowed me to have breakfast earlier in order to leave - very rich breakfast and nice restaurant I’ve experienced for dinner. Overall I can highly recommend this place, wish I’d have had more time to explore - next time :)

Dating back to the 12th century, Burg Deutschlandsberg is located amid the rolling hills of South-Western Styria and offers you modern rooms with antique pieces of furniture, gourmet cuisine and a spa... Amazing place with warmhearted and genuingly friendly staff. Wonderful location and superb kitchen with highly skillfull personel. Very clean and comfortable rooms in a historical castle. Most certainly we will be back.

I arrived late at night when there was no one at reception, but the key of the room and the check-in form were waiting for me. I could use the sauna, I was alone, it was great after a long trip. Room size is much larger, than usual. The breakfast was nice. The staffs were very kind and smiling in the morning.

A beautifully equipped resort, great breakfast, super staff that made us feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommended place to stay.
