Without a doubt this was the most amazing place we stayed in our entire trip to Austria. The employees are pleasant, kind and ready to help in everything. The room is large, spacious, decorated and equipped. The food at breakfast was above and beyond any expectation, so much variety, you could even order an egg according to your preference (scrambled, eye). Of course, the location of the hotel is breathtaking, among all the vineyards and nature, the silence and beauty do not leave much room for words. We loved everything and would stay there even more!

Located right next to the Danube River in the centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau Valley, the Donauwirt offers accommodation with free WiFi access and free private parking. The location is excellent. Situated in a quaint and central village and right across from the bus stop and a beach along the river where one can swim. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world. The family who owns and manages this hotel go out of their way to serve their guests. We did not have a car while there and didn’t need one. Between the buses and the seasonal train, we were covered and able to go where we needed to go. The highlight was renting bikes and cycling through the villages and sampling wines along the way.

Hotel Garni Weinquadrat is situated in the centre of Weißenkirchen in the scenic Wachau region, only steps away from the Danube. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and a tea/coffee maker. Great Breakfast, easy bike rental and location a plus.

Hotel Schachner is located in the town of Maria Taferl, close to the basilica. It offers views of the Alps and the Danube River. Staff, enviroment, view, welness, cleaness everything was exceptional.

Located in Mautern on the southern bank of the Danube, only 2 km from Krems, the Nikolaihof offers very spacious, classically equipped rooms with panoramic views over the Wachau Valley. Everything was great , just no words to describe Everything was perfect

The small, family-run Donauhof is located close to the Danube River in the wine-growing village of Weißenkirchen, in the heart of the Wachau Region, the UNESCO world heritage. Charming little hotel in the heart of Wachau. Loved the breakfast on the balcony. Walking distance to beautiful trail walks. Highly recommended!

Built in 1574 as a shipmaster’s house, Renaissancehotel Raffelsberger Hof B&B is a protected building in the historic village centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau. Marvelous breakfast and lovely historic property.

The owners of accommodation were very hands on and had great values They were very knowledgeable about food and wine which made the stay an experience and enjoyable. And the breakfast and dinner were delicious!!
