Just opposite the Apollo Bay Beach, Waterfront Motor Inn offers a variety of accommodation in a lovely garden setting. Guests enjoy free WiFi and some rooms offer ocean views. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Hot water and water pressure is good. AC worked well as heater. Even the soaps and shampoos were great quality stuff made in NZ.

Very big room with two doors, one goes to the inner garden and another to the corridor with a water filter. Laundry is free with liquid detergent and a dryer. The personnel is welcoming and caring. The bathroom is fully renovated.

Boasting a solar-heated swimming pool and an outdoor fireplace, Sunnymead Hotel is just 4 minutes’ walk from Bass Strait. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The style and vibe of the place was very cool to experience - looks and feels far more expensive than it was, great value for money! Location was ideal being on the Great Ocean Road itself, and close to the Aireys Inlet lighthouse, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
