We loved our stay, firstly the staff are treasures, especially Janaina who is so kind, thoughtful and a pleasure to meet. I have been amazed at the good people we have met in our travels through Argentina and Brazil. The breakfast every morning would put most 5 star hotels too shame! Villa Lulu is a beautifully and colourfully decorated & designed guest house with all you need in amenities - coming home after a day on the beach it was an oasis to have a swim and a beer from the fridge (works on honesty system) It is close to Geriba beach (surfing and wide open beach) literally 3 minute walk, down a quiet cobbled road - we loved it being away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristic areas that are not our style - we did get Ubers to explore some of the other beaches which was easy and hassle free. I really recommend Villa Lulu if you are inclined to our way of thinking

Situated in Cabo Frio, Paradiso Peró Praia Hotel offers beachfront accommodation 300 metres from Pero Beach. I stayed at Paradiso Pero Praia for five nights. The good news first: The hotel is beautifully situated right on the beach. We had a great room with large windows overlooking the sea. It's a nice middle-class family hotel. The neighbourhood is quiet and not touristy. For dinner in the evening, you have to drive about 20 minutes to find nice, cosy restaurants.

Very good location for walking to main beach and a variety of restaurants. Secure parking. Very comfortable room and beds. In-house restaurant food very good. Superb breakfast. Very relaxing pool area.

Pousada Santorini is one of the most traditional inns in Búzios, its 18 housing units provide exclusive and differentiated service, making your stay a comfortable and pleasant experience. We loved the peace and quiet inside and outside. There is chill bossa nova music in the pool, great and helpful staff. Room service was very good, the best pizza we had all week. The owner is a gentleman and always looking for ways to make our stay wonderful and relaxed.

In a privileged location in Búzios, with direct access to Geribá Beach, Maravista Hotel & Spa Ltda features panoramic sea views, a pool with an adjoined heated tub, bar and à la carte restaurant. Breakfast was great. Staff were great.
