We came because of the Eurovision, and had great time. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help – from check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly and pleasantly. The service was outstanding, and the whole team made it clear they truly care about their guests. The rooms were modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful design details that made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic; varied, fresh, and delicious, with something for everyone. The breakfast area has a stylish yet cozy atmosphere that made mornings feel special and had modern appliances for guests to use. The location is great, with excellent access to public transportation, making it easy to reach any part of the city. It is easy to go to the airport, St.Jakobshalle and city centre. A great bonus is the option for online check-out, which takes less than two minutes – super convenient and efficient and you can do it 0-24. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Basel, with top-notch service and a great location.

A nice and cozy hotel in the heart of the city, very close to the Old Town, Münster and Kunstmuseum. The furniture was new and stylish. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The stuff is kind and helpful.

The modern 4-star Novotel Basel City is located 800 metres from the train station and a 10-minute walk from the Kunstmuseum and it offers free public WiFi and a restaurant. My time at this hotel was truly delightful! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. For those arriving by car, having their own parking lot and being able to take the elevator directly from the parking to your room is a lifesaver. The breakfast offered in the mornings was both filling and very delicious. The hotel's location was also fantastic, allowing me to easily reach everything around. And of course, the rooms were much cleaner and tidier than I expected!

Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. Love this hotel. Third stay. Always a warm welcome from ladies on reception and during breakfast. Excellent stylish, comfortable hotel at a fair price. Easy one stop on bus 30 outside hotel to Basel SBB and on to airport. Perfect overnight stop. Old town Basel just down steps behind hotel.

Located in the middle of urban Basel, the pocket-size cosmopolitan city, our hotel is very central and only two minute walk from Basel Badischer railway station. It was a very satisfying stay for us. Right from the check-in, everything was perfect here. Special mention about Katie at the reception who was very courteous, helpful and friendly, and also got our room ready well ahead of our check-in time. The best value for money option in Basel, with amazing access to public transport, museums and all the hotspots (it's right opposite Basel Bad station and the tram stop for tram lines 2 & 6 that take you to the centre and beyond). The room was chic, big, convenient, had a nespresso machine, a lovely bath and a balcony overlooking the train station. The lobby also played 90s rock music 24/7, which I loved. There's no staff post 3 pm at the front desk, but it was safe going in and out with the access card. Overall, a perfect stay in the lovely city of Basel. I would definitely go back.
