In Sarnen, 2 km from the Sarnensee Lake, the self-catered Apartments Chalet Wirz Travel offers an air-conditioned apartment with free WiFi and free private parking on site. We loved our apartment! It was perfect for our Christmas holiday. They thought of everything! The apartment was stocked with some complimentary food and beverages which was a nice surprise. Also, the location is great. The train station is nearby which is great to do day trips to places like Lucerne. The shops are nearby as well which is convenient! There are a lot of activities and things to see in the area and this apartment was the perfect base. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it!

On the sunny plateau of Melchsee-Frutt in the Swiss Alps, 1,920 meters above sea level, this hotel features a spa and an open-air lounge with mountain views. Stöckalp SMF Ski Lift is 150 metres away. I truly enjoyed my stay at this place! I stayed there twice last week and both my stays were wonderful! Gorgeous view on the winter lake - I felt like I’m on the moon crater.. tranquility, nice scenery, cosy fireplace, and really nice personnel! Staff from the restaurant and reception are very nice and helpful. Special thanks to Alex from front desk as he helped us a lot with various issues - from lost phone to forgotten cable car ticket! Thank you very much and I’m looking forward to visiting this place again

This traditional hotel enjoys a quiet location 2 km from Lake Sempach. It offers panoramic views of the lake and the Swiss Alps. Guests benefit from free Wi-Fi and a bowling alley. The property is stunning. The views are phenomenal. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Very kid friendly with the play ground on site. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Everything was wonderful

Located on the banks of Lake Zug in the old town of Zug, Hotel Löwen am See offers air-conditioned rooms, panoramic lake and mountain views, and a restaurant. Very convenient, lovely staff & great food. This was my second stay & do recommend it to everyone who needs to stay in Zug

The Hotel Waldegg - Adults only enjoys an elevated south-facing position in Engelberg. It offers panoramic mountain views, a spa area with an indoor pool, and a restaurant. The service was exceptional - from a relaxed glass of champagne on arrival to help putting chains on our car tyres on departure. Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated with a stunning view of the mountains and Engelberg. We ate at the Thai restaurant which offers outstanding food and at the European restaurant which has a small but well cooked menu. Breakfast was plentiful with options for high end warm dishes. The infinity pool was amazing with various jets and a separate warmer jacuzzi. The outdoor hot tub and sauna in a cable car cabin felt especially luxurious, surrounded by snow and Christmas lights. The indoor spa (2 saunas, steam room and special showers) is quite small, but during our stay we had it mostly to ourselves. For a romantic and relaxing short stay, it was perfect and we plan to come again!
