The Hotel Daniela enjoys a very calm location in Zermatt, situated within a 10-minute walk from the cable cars and the train station. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. The staffs are perfect. They gave information more than enough. Without their advice I could not decide to go up the Mathehorn as soon as I arrived the hotel. The day after the weather was not good, so Mathehorn could not be seen. The spa was wonderful, and breakfast was also good. Lovely hotel.

We decided to have dinner at DaVinchi. The staff accommodated us and we ate in the common area. The food was great.

There is a restaurant in the hotel, which offers a very good selection of local and European dishes, and the wine selection is exquisite. Even though the rating of the WiFi on this website is a bit lower, the hotel fixed this convincingly by providing you with a wifi receiver to take to the room. This fully solved any issue that might have been there in the past, since the wireless internet worked perfectly.

Gorgeous Resort and spacious for a family of 4 with young children. The beds were well thought out. Amazing breakfast and quite superior from European standards. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Spa was great with heated pool overlooking the Matterhorn. They’ve got some great restaurants. Location was great to go directly Sunnega via the lift.

Just a fabulous place to stay. The whole experience wildly exceeded our expectations. The check in process was quick and easy and the whole team at the Apartment-Hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. They contributed hugely to an exceptional customer experience. The rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished and very, very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were superbly equipped and when we did have some (minor) issues the team were able to resolve these promptly and with no fuss. There are no washing facilities in the apartment, however, there washing/drying facilities in the basement. The views from the balcony were amazing. We could park our car nearly and under cover, so it was in the hot sun. The are shops and restaurants nearby and the local cable car is just a short walk away. It's very near to the bus stop and the Saastal card that you get includes free travel on the local bus and on the Saas-Grund cable car. If I could rate this property an 11, I would. It is that good. I would happily stay there again and have no trouble in thoroughly recommending it. You won't be disappointed.

Due to a power outage, we were forced to stay for three extra nights. The hostess kindly gave us a 50% discount. My younger son really liked the hotel and especially appreciated the handsome receptionist at the front desk, who often interacted with him. We will definitely come back again.
