Offering an outdoor pool, relaxing volcanic hot springs and a restaurant, Hotel El Silencio del Campo is located 6 minutes’ drive from Fortuna. Free WiFi access is available. We had a fantastic time at Hotel El Silencio del Campo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautifully maintained, featuring lush gardens filled with birds. Every morning felt like a mini birdwatching session, as we enjoyed watching numerous birds—and even a curious squirrel—visit the restaurant during breakfast. The on-site farm was a lovely place to explore, adding a unique local charm to our stay. We also appreciated the on-site restaurant, which offered different menus each evening. On the days we didn’t feel like venturing out, it was the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious and relaxing dinner right on the property. The natural hot springs were an excellent bonus—peaceful and rejuvenating. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to unwind in nature with warm hospitality!

Chato Arenal Lodge has a nice breakfast with fresh fruits and an amazing view from the restaurant. The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable, I loved that the hotel is at a walking distance from La Fortuna waterfalls and a five minutes drive from the downtown where you can have access to restaurants, cafes and the hot springs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Esteban was very helpful and shared with me some beautiful location that I can visit. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying at Chato Arenal on my next visit to Costa Rica.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ecolodge. The staff was amazing, the food and the amenities were great, and the location was perfect for us.
